Oticon hearing aids is a subsidiary of William Demant Holdings in Denmark and is undoubtedly one of the largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world, with their own chains of Audioclinic retail stores throughout Australia and the world. Oticon Hearing aids have won several design awards and are renowned for the comfortable sound quality, sleek appearance and durability. These hearing aids are liked by audiologists and audiometrists as they employ simplified fitting software, making successful hearing aid fittings almost fool proof.

Oticon hearing aids are regularly updated with new improved products and they are almost always on the forefront with their hearing aid technology releases. They were the first company to launch a receiver in canal type hearing aid in Australia. This hearing aid was called the Oticon Delta. They were also the first company to release Bluetooth capable hearing aids in the guise of the Oticon Epoq range of hearing aids. Most recently their Agil Pro and now Intiga 10 hearing aids have once again broken new ground with their Floating linear gain, providing excellent sound quality.

Oticon Australia is based in North Ryde, Sydney and imports hearing aids directly from Denmark. They provide full local support and repair and maintain warranty in Australia. They also employ a large number of Australian staff and regularly become involved in charity.

Oticon hearing aids are regularly misspelled as Opticon hearing aids, but are such a well know brand, that audiologists would never confuse them with another hearing aid brand.
