The OPN 2 is based on the Velox chip that is 50x faster than the previous generation Inium Sense found in the Alta2, Nera2 and Ria2 hearing aids. The OPN2 features Oticon’s BrainHearing^TM technologies (albeit in reduced capabilities compared to the OPN1), which are designed to assist the brain’s ability to understand sound.The OPN2 also includes Clear Dynamics (to improve sound quality), Spatial Noise Management (to help reduce background noise) and TwinLink Wireless (which connects the hearing aids straight to their compatible smartphone). The OPN2 is a good device for those who have moderate difficulties hearing in background noise. The OPN 2 MiniRite - T brings telecoil to the OPN platform.
