The OPN 3 13BTE PP uses the Velox chip that is 50x faster than the previous generation Inium Sense (found in the Alta2, Nera2 and Ria2 hearing aids). The OPN3 includes many of the same technologies as the OPN2 and OPN3, but with reduced performance.The OPN3 includes the option for users to connect their hearing aids directly to their iPhone (Android capability is in progress) allowing them to stream phone calls directly to their hearing aids. The OPN3 is a good option for those who have mild difficulties hearing in background noise. The OPN3 13BTE PP brings a fully featured, powerful BTE device to the OPN platform to more comfortably address more severe hearing loss.
